Gifted Class and the Stock Market

After reaching into near record territory last week, the stock market fell 214.28 points on Wednesday. Analysts say a strong rise in consumer prices pushed the Dow Jones industrial average to its biggest point drop since January 20.
Classes at the Pgh Gifted Center are coming to a close today.

In math class, stocks, check-writting and other financial tools were being studied. A presentation on the stock market crash of 1929 is being delivered by Erik.

The class exercise had Erik buying five stocks including Red Hat and Microsoft. Go figure. Many others in the class had purchased Google.
